Gardens & Landscaping.The jungle, curated.
Landscaping and garden design in Playa del Carmen — tropical gardens that thrive without a full-time gardener.
We design gardens that look inevitable: native species that love this soil, irrigation that runs itself, lighting that makes the garden a second act at night. Low maintenance is a design decision, not luck.

01Read the site
Sun, shade, salt exposure, soil and how much water is realistic. That rules out half the plant list before we start drawing.
02Plant for this climate
Natives and salt-tolerant species — chit and coconut palms, sea grape, cocoplum, crotons, bougainvillea, agave — arranged to look full from the first month.
03Irrigation and lighting
Drip irrigation on a timer, and low-level lighting that makes the garden work after dark without lighting up the bedroom.
04Planted and handed over
Planted, mulched, tested and handed over with a maintenance schedule a local gardener can follow week to week.
Questions, answered.
How much maintenance will a tropical garden need?
Designed correctly — native species, automated irrigation, honest spacing — a garden here needs a fraction of the care people fear. Low maintenance is a design decision, and we make it from day one.
Do you install irrigation?
Yes — automated systems sized to the planting, so the garden waters itself whether you’re in residence or abroad.
Can you light the garden?
That’s our favorite part. Landscape lighting is designed with the planting, not after it — warm, dimmable and automated at dusk.
Which plants actually survive this climate?
The ones already living here — coconut and chit palms, sea grape, cocoplum, crotons, bougainvillea, agave. We plant natives and salt-tolerant species that hold up to sun, storms and sandy soil, rather than imports that need shade and constant water.
