Airbnb Design.Built to book.
Interiors designed to photograph, rent and last — by the design arm of PlayaStays, a property management leader in the Riviera Maya. Higher nightly rates. Fuller calendars. Reviews that hold.
Design is the listing.
Guests pick your listing from one hero photo, not from square meters.
- Where guests decideOne hero shot at thumbnail size, in a row of thirty
- Playa del CarmenThousands of near-identical condos: white walls, gray sofa, palm print
- What winsThe listing that looks like somewhere gets the click
- ThenThe click becomes the booking
Our parent company, PlayaStays, manages vacation rentals across Playa del Carmen, so we see what travelers choose.
- We watchWhat travelers choose, what they pay, what they write afterward
- The patternDesigned properties command higher nightly rates and fuller calendars
- ReviewsDesigned properties collect the reviews that keep them visible
- DesignNot decoration on a rental. It is the product.
In a crowded market, position is everything. Photography earns the click. Comfort earns the review. Reviews earn the ranking. Design sets all three in motion.

01Photograph-First StylingThe hero shot is decided in the design presentation, not discovered on shoot day — every room composed for the lens
02Turnover-Proof MaterialsSealed hardwoods, performance fabrics, chukum and stone — surfaces that hold up to weekly cleans, salt air and sunscreen
03Guest FlowA real coffee station, a landing for luggage, blackout curtains for the late flight — comfort a guest feels on night one
04The Review DetailsBedside charging, reading light, knives that cut — the specifics five-star reviews mention by name
05Outdoor RoomsIn the Riviera Maya the terrace is the second hero shot — furnished and lit as carefully as the living room
06Built for the CycleFurniture built locally, made for the rental years — hardwood joinery, not flat-pack

How vacation rental design works.
Interiors built for turnovers, review scores and a listing that photographs well on a phone.
01Read the listing and the market
What comparable properties charge, what their photographs look like and where yours is losing the click. That sets the brief, not a mood board.
02Design for the camera and the cleaner
A hero shot in every room, surfaces that wipe down, linens in multiples, and a layout a turnover crew can reset in under an hour.
03Furnish and equip
Furniture, lighting, kitchenware, linens, spares. Everything a guest expects and the things they only notice when they are missing.
04Photographed and listed
Styled and professionally shot, with copy and a shot order for the listing. Live and taking bookings, not waiting on a photographer.
Questions, answered.
Do you work with owners who already have a property manager?
Yes. Most of our rental projects are design-only — we deliver a furnished, photographed, listed-ready property with a full inventory, and your manager takes it from there. If you’d rather have one company do both, our parent company PlayaStays manages vacation rentals across the coast.
How long does a full furnish take?
Design presentation, furniture build, delivery, install, styling and photography — one written schedule from keys. You approve one presentation and one budget; the rest happens while you’re away.
Do you design for Airbnb only, or for long-term rentals too?
Both. Rental-grade design serves any calendar — nightly guests, monthly tenants, or a winter you keep for yourself. The materials and the flow don’t change; the linen count does.
What does turnkey include?
Everything a guest will touch: furniture, lighting, art, kitchenware, linens, the coffee station. Plus delivery, install, styling and listing photography. The property we hand back can take its first booking that week.
