Many condos here were built without a closet at all. A free-standing wardrobe in solid wood — cane or slatted doors, arched or square — gives the room storage that reads as furniture, and moves with you when you sell.

Oak
Stable, pale, takes a matte finish beautifully. The default for closet interiors and drawer boxes.
Parota
For the pieces you see — media consoles, shelves, feature panels. Warm, figured, unmistakably local.

Air moves through. On wardrobe and closet doors it is the difference between fresh and musty in August.
Matte Lacquer

01Survey the opening
We measure the alcove at three heights, because the walls are rarely parallel. Every carcass is cut to the numbers from your room, not a catalogue.
02Plan the inside
Hanging, shelving, drawers, shoes, luggage — set out on a drawing before anything is built. Rentals get a lockable owner cupboard if you want one.
03Built for the climate
Sealed carcasses, cane or slatted fronts where airflow matters, and soft-close hardware rated for salt air. Nothing that swells in September.
04Installed and scribed
Fitted in place and scribed to the wall so there is no gap and no filler strip. Doors adjusted, shelves levelled, room cleaned.

How do you stop closets smelling musty in the humidity?
Ventilation, by design. Cane or slatted doors, ventilated back panels, a gap at the plinth and — in walk-ins — a quiet extractor tied to the AC. Solid wood and moisture-rated substrates rather than raw particleboard, which is what actually smells.
How much does a walk-in closet cost?
It scales with the run of metres and the interior — a lit island with drawers costs more than open shelving. Send the room dimensions and we quote it in writing, fitted and installed.
Can you fit a closet or media wall in a condo I don’t live in yet?
Yes. We work from the developer plans, survey once you have access, and install before you arrive. Most of our rental fit-outs happen with the owner abroad.
How long does fitted carpentry take?
Sign-off to installation runs on a written schedule. Installation itself is a single visit — everything is pre-fitted locally.
Will a media wall fit my TV and soundbar?
We build to your equipment — recess sized to the screen, ventilation for the amp, a chase for every cable. Tell us the models, or let us specify them with our technology team.
Do you install in Playa del Carmen?
Yes, with our own crew, and it is included in the quote — scribed to the walls, wired, lit and cleaned up the same day.
